Akshara Degree College for Women Hyderabad

Akshara Degree College for Women, which now calls itself Akshara Degree & PG College for Women, is a women's college at Pillar No. 143 on the Attapur stretch of Rajendra Nagar mandal, Hyderabad. It is affiliated to Osmania University, and its admissions page speaks of 17 years of teaching women. Alongside the MBA it runs undergraduate courses such as BBA, B.Com, BCA and B.Sc.

At postgraduate level the college lists an MBA alongside an MCA and three M.Sc programmes in nutrition. The Department of Commerce & Management describes the MBA as covering strategic management, business analytics and leadership, but the website does not give the MBA intake, the specialisations on offer or the fee. Ask the office for the current fee and seat count before you choose the college in counselling.

The college appears on Telangana's TS ICET institute list, so convener-quota MBA seats are filled through TS ICET counselling. The college's own admission page adds that for MBA and MCA it looks at the entrance exam score, a group discussion and interview, and academic record, and that final-year degree students can apply provisionally. You will need your SSC, intermediate and degree memos, transfer certificate, Aadhaar and, if relevant, caste and income certificates. The office can be reached on 040-35688256 or +91 90638 87903.
