Who we are

My Campus Review (mycampusreview.com) helps students find and compare colleges and get admission advice. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: info@mycampusreview.com.

Information we collect

When you create a free account with Google sign-in, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We never see your Google password.

In your profile you can give us your mobile number, city and state, qualification, the course you are interested in, entrance exams and scores, the year you want to join, your fee budget and preferred cities.

When you send an enquiry or ask for counselling, we collect the details you enter in that form.

If you are logged in, we record your activity on our website: the pages, colleges and articles you view, predictor searches, downloads, colleges you save and enquiries you send. We do not track visitors who are not logged in beyond normal website analytics and a count of free articles kept in your own browser.

How we use it

  • to show colleges, exams and deadlines that fit your profile, and keep your shortlist;
  • to let an admission advisor call you, only if you ticked β€œAn admission advisor may call me”, or when you send an enquiry;
  • to send exam dates and deadlines on WhatsApp, only if you ticked that option;
  • to understand which pages and tools are useful and improve the website;
  • to keep the website secure and prevent misuse.

Who we share it with

We never sell your phone number or personal information, and we do not pass it to call centres.

We share your details with a college only when you ask us to, for example when you apply to or enquire about that college.

We use service providers to run the website (hosting, database and sign-in providers such as Vercel, Neon and Google). They process data only on our instructions.

We may disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your profile, change your call and WhatsApp choices, or delete your account at any time from My account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, shortlist and activity history.

You can withdraw consent at any time; it does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

To ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of an enquiry you sent without an account, email info@mycampusreview.com. We reply within 30 days.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove it immediately from our live systems; backups are overwritten within 30 days. Enquiries are kept for up to 2 years so we can follow up on admissions, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), signed login cookies and limited, role-based access for our team. No system is completely secure, but we review our safeguards regularly.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: to keep you logged in, to remember your login status, and for basic analytics. You can block cookies in your browser, but you won't be able to log in.

Third-party websites

Our pages link to college and exam websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies before sharing information with them.

Children

Our services are meant for students aged 16 and above. If you are under 18, please use the website with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.

Changes and grievances

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version. We will highlight important changes on the website.
