Anurag University (Formerly Anurag Group of Institutions - CVSR College of Engineering) Hyderabad

Anurag University is a private university at Venkatapur, near Ghatkesar in Medchal-Malkajgiri district of Hyderabad. It grew out of colleges run by the Gayathri Educational and Cultural Trust, including the former Anurag Group of Institutions (CVSR College of Engineering), and now teaches engineering, management, pharmacy, agriculture and health sciences. The university states that it is recognised by the UGC under Section 2(f), that its engineering programmes are AICTE-approved and NBA-accredited, and that it holds a NAAC A+ grade.

The two-year MBA offers Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management and Operations Management, and there are separate MBA programmes in Business Analytics, Healthcare Management and BFSI. The university's 2026-27 fee table lists tuition of ₹1.5 lakh a year for the regular MBA, about ₹3 lakh for the full course, while the Business Analytics and Healthcare MBAs cost ₹2 lakh a year and the BFSI MBA ₹3.25 lakh a year. B.Tech tuition is ₹3.25 lakh a year in every branch, roughly ₹13 lakh over four years, across CSE, AI and ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, IT, ECE, EEE, Mechanical and Civil.

For the MBA, the university accepts TS ICET scores and its own Anurag Common Entrance Test (AnuragCET), and you need a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. B.Tech admission is based on AnuragCET, TS EAPCET or JEE Main scores. Applications are made online at admissions.anurag.edu.in, and some programmes call applicants for a counselling session or interview. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls, with accommodation fees listed between ₹1.05 lakh and ₹1.6 lakh a year depending on the room type.
