Avanthi PG College Hyderabad

Avanthi PG College is the MBA wing of Avanthi Degree & PG College, located on SBI Officers Colony Road in Indira Nagar, Dilsukhnagar, in the eastern part of Hyderabad. It is run by the Avanthi Educational Society, which was set up in 1992. AICTE treats it as an unaided private institution, and AICTE's approval letter shows the MBA affiliated to Osmania University.

The MBA is a two-year regular day programme offered with four specialisations: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and Systems. The college's course page lists 240 seats taught in three sections, while the older AICTE approval for 2018-19 on the same site shows an intake of 180, so check the current figure during counselling. Any graduate with a B.Sc., B.Com., BCA or equivalent degree can apply. The website does not publish the tuition fee.

Admission is mainly through TS ICET, the Telangana government's entrance test, and the college's ICET code is AVNT. According to the admission page, 70 percent of seats are filled on ICET merit through state counselling, and the other 30 percent are management or NRI seats, which have their own application form on the site. For questions, the college lists +91-9866466009 and info@avanthi.edu.in. The site says nothing about hostel or transport facilities, so ask about these if you are coming from outside Hyderabad.
