BBK DAV COLLEGE FOR WOMEN AMRITSAR

Placements: There is a placement cell in the college. Anurag sir, Jaspreet Bedi madam, etc., deal with this sections. From my batch, 30-40% of the students and seniors got placed in the different companies. The companies like Infosys, Wipro, and Tata Consultancy Services visited our campus. They offered the different salary packages according to the job posts, offering 20-30K per month, which is good for the freshers. Around, 20% of the students got an internship from the college, and fatherless the students get the discount on their fees. The placement cell is helpful for the students, as they get their dream job while studying or before completing their course. The placement cell staff is cooperative.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the BBK DAV college (BBKDAV) is the best when compared with all the other colleges of Amritsar. The labs are fully-equipped with A/C and have the Wi-Fi facility. The medical facility is available on the campus. Regarding the sports, the students get every kind of support from the college and the faculty. There is a sports wing in the college, and the sports students get the sports quota seats in the college. The canteen food is delicious. I love spring roll, and I think every BBK student is going to miss it in future. I didn't face any infrastructure problem, as I said earlier it is the best.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified and helpful. All my class teachers have the masters degree, and some of them cleared the UGC. The faculty members are educated from the best colleges, so they know well to deal with the students in a sophisticated manner. They use the simple teaching methods so that every student gets it easily. The student to faculty ratio is 40:1. The staff members are cooperative and well-dedicated.
Other: The college organises the different fest and events, and all the students participate in those events. In the youth festival, our college is the winner in most activities. The students are encouraged to do the extracurricular activities so that the student can study in the fields of their interest. Bharti Singh is the big example, and she is from our college. The college supports her to achieve the goal.
