ICFAI Business Aptitude Test, commonly known as IBSAT, is an entrance exam conducted by the ICFAI Foundation of Higher Education for admission to MBA and PGDM programs in colleges located in different regions of India. The exam is designed to check Verbal abilities and logical reasoning.
Generally, candidates who are willing to take admissions in B-schools connected with ICFAI can appear in the exam. This exam is similar to other entrance exams primarily conducted for management programs.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who are willing to appear for the IBSAT exam need to meet the following criteria, check your eligibility criteria, see below:-
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university following the minimum criteria:
- 50% for unreserved category
- 45% for reserved (SC, ST, OBC) category
- Candidates who have not graduated from English medium need to submit the TOEFL/IELTS scorecard.
- Candidates who are in their final year of graduation or have their results awaited can also apply for the exam.
- Candidates who have already a valid scorecard for the CAT, GMAT, or NMAT exams, don’t need to appear for the IBSAT as their scorecard will work the same as the IBSAT.
Exam Pattern
IBSAT paper is a 2-hour long paper containing 140 MCQs belonging to four different sections, the level of the exam is generally easy to moderate, there is no negative marking and no section-wise time limit, and candidates can switch as per their convenience.
