KMAT stands for Karnataka Management Aptitude Test, responsibly conducted by the Karnataka Post-Graduate Private Colleges Association, abbreviated as KPPGCA to fill out the vacant seats of MBA, PGDM and MCA-like courses. The KMAT was first introduced in the year 2003 after observing the need of having a single entrance exam for the entire Karnataka State. More than 170 AICTE-approved MBA colleges and over 50 MCA colleges rely on the KMAT score for their admissions . The process is followed by Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.
KPPGCA invites candidates from across the nation to take the test and secure a seat in the prestigious universities of Karnataka. KMAT exam level is usually easy to moderate and easier than CAT, XAT and ATMA-like entrance exams.
