MAH-CET, which stands for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, is operated by the State Common Entrance cell or CET Cell. Students who wish to seek admission into management programmes like MBA, MMS and other related courses. In 2024 the exam will be in CBT mode with two or three sessions each day.

After considering the past data, more than 50,000 students prepare for the exam. The same scorecard opens for more than 300+ institutes across Maharashtra. The exam is open for all Maharashtrian and Non-Maharashtrian candidates. MAH-CET 2024 exam will be held in 30 Maharashtrian cities and 12 other major cities all over India. The exam has a centralised Admission Process (CAP) or counselling and candidates get their seats allotted in participating colleges as per their scores in the exam, in addition, candidates who already have a valid scorecard of CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA can directly attend the MAH-CET counselling sessions.

The exam is quite hard and challenging if we compare it with MAT and ATMA like exams, although it is easier than the CAT exam. The exam pattern has an unfixed pattern that makes it more challenging, however, it has no negative marking but has different sectional weightage, also, authorities reset the weightage for each session every year, so you need to prepare all the sections and set a command over the topics, there is no other way to crack it.
