XAT is an entrance exam to check the eligibility of students who want to pursue an MBA, PGDM, or some other management-related degree, the exam is conducted by XLRI (Xavier Labor Relation Institute) Jamshedpur. The Institute has 70 years of glorious history and is responsible for identifying the most deserving candidates for the management program through XAT.
XAT comes under the list of major management-related entrance exams conducted in India and is widely accepted by 11 XAMI member institutes, 83 associate institutes, and more than 600 other esteemed B-School pan India, approximately 90,000 aspirants appear every year for the exam.
The question type of the exam is quite hard compared to the CAT and any other contemporary exams. The exam comprises 100 MCQs divided into 5 different sections, and unlike the other exams, it has a time limit for each section.
Eligibility Criteria
To appear in the XAT exam, the candidate needs to fulfill certain eligibility criteria, which are as follows:-

Candidate must have 3-year graduation degree or equivalent to the degree.

Those who are in their final year of graduation or result awaiting can also apply for the exam.

There are no minimum marks criteria to appear in the exam, candidate needs only a passing degree in any field of graduation.

Working professionals are also eligible to sit in the exam.
