The PGDM at IBI is the flagship and most popular course of the institute, Greater Noida. It is a full-time, 2-year course that has acquired an AICTE-approved equivalent to an MBA. 
This PGDM program is designed for students who want to build strong careers in management and leadership roles. The biggest advantage of this course is the option of dual specialization. 

Students are able to choose two subjects instead of one, which helps them gain wider knowledge and better job options. These include seven areas of specializations such as Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, International Business, and Information Technology. Through these options, students learn both basic management subjects and advanced industry-focused topics.

The eligibility to join the PGDM course is a bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognized university. For students in the general category, a minimum of 50% marks is required while for SC, ST, and OBC students, it is 45%. There is no age limit to apply and thus both fresh graduates and working professionals will be able to apply. 

The admission process at IBI starts with an online application form available on the official website of IBI. The application fee is INR 1,100. Students are short-listed based on scores of national entrance exams. It also accepts even a 40 percentile score in CAT, which again makes admission easy for many students. The short-listed candidates are then called for Group Discussion on current business or social topics. This is followed by a Personal Interview to check communication skills, confidence, and career goals. Finally, there is an interaction with the Dean or Director. Final admission depends on the entrance test score, academic background, GD-PI performance, and work experience if any. There are merit-based scholarships too, of up to 100%, based on the entrance exam score and past academics.

The two-year PGDM curriculum is spread over six trimesters. Before the regular classes begin, students attend a 50-day orientation program. This covers leadership activities, rural exposure programs, personality development sessions, and soft skills training. Through these activities, the students become confident and job-ready for the corporate world.

During the first year, students study core management subjects such as managerial economics, financial accounting, marketing management, organizational behavior, statistics, operations, research methods, business strategy, and ethics. These core subjects build a solid foundation in management. Teaching is accomplished through cases based on real business experiences taken from globally acknowledged sources, discussions in the classroom, and practical examples. All faculties are highly qualified with PhDs from top institutes of repute.

During the second year, students focus more intensely on the specialization they choose. Students specializing in Marketing study digital marketing, branding, consumer behavior, and sales management. The coursework of students majoring in HR covers topics such as recruitment, performance management, labor laws, and employee development. Students of Finance learn about investment, banking, risk management, and fintech. 

IBI also provides international exposure through study tours to countries such as Singapore and Dubai. The Innovation Cell in the institute is supported by the Ministry of Education and helps students interested in startups and business ideas. Facilities such as ERP labs and Bloomberg terminals allow students to practice real-time business simulations. More than 100 corporate experts visit campus every year for guest lectures, workshops, and mentoring sessions.

Placement support at IBI is strong. The institute has a dedicated placement cell, providing training, mock interviews, resume building, and career guidance. More than 500 companies visit campus for placements, including banks, consulting firms, IT companies, and MNCs. According to recent placement statistics, the highest package was around Rs. 35 LPA, with an average salary of Rs. 7.5 LPA approximately. Students get roles in marketing, finance, analytics, consulting, HR, and operations.
The total cost for the PGDM ranges from INR 9.85 lakhs to 10.75 lakhs, including tuition fees, library access, and certification charges. The fee for hostels is around INR 1.5 to 2 LPA. The Institute thus helps students in acquiring education loans.  Payment plans are also allowed.
