Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Jaipur participated as a sponsor in the Education Summit 2023 organized by First India News Rajasthan on 9 June 2023.
Adviser & CEO of the University Mr. Vedant Garg sir participated in the program as a panelist and shared his views on the women education system. He said that education is considered the most important resource for the empowerment of women in the society. Lack of education also affects the health of women and their family & children. Many types of research have also shown that uneducated women have large numbers of problems related to physical and mental health. Therefore, along with education, the government will have to take new initiatives on the issues of women's health.
He also raised the issue that, India now has a total of 799 universities, out of which only 14 are women's universities, still many more new efforts need to be made for higher education of women. The implementation of the new education policy will certainly support professional job and skill-oriented education and develop new employment opportunities for women. Many drop out women and uneducated women will also be able to make their career by doing various short term and online professional courses. Now for any reason even if a woman's education remains incomplete, she will get the experience of education in a limited time under the new education policy.
