The institute offers professional education, highly experienced faculty, meticulously designed infrastructure, impeccable placements and rich academic experience. In addition to this, LBSIM is also known for its MDPs, Staff Development Programmes (SDPs) and Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs). Besides conventional classroom teaching, the learning curriculum of LBSIM is supplemented with the display of video cassettes and modern teaching aids. Special focus is given on the individual and overall personality development of the students. Special short-duration MDPs, seminars, conferences and paper presentations are also organised from time to time. The students are also taken to various organisations for the purpose of plant visits and organisational study. The scheme of examination and syllabus of the courses is prescribed by Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow.
LBSIM has a team of dedicated faculty who are actively engaged in research work, book writing & publishing papers and organising & partaking in FDPs. The campus of the institute is meticulously designed with lecture halls, libraries, computer labs, hostels, canteen, cafeteria and Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus. To encourage extra-curricular activities and creative spirit of the students, LBSIM conducts several fests and events including Regalia, Ritkriti, Rockers, etc.
The institute has newly launched a pedagogical approach to shift the focus of group learning to individual learning. The scheme is introduced so that students start taking responsibility along with active interaction with their faculty and peers. In addition to this, LBSIM regularly organises national and international seminars and conferences to enrich and enhance the interaction of students with industry experts and academicians. The students are also regularly taken for plant visits to Coca Cola, Scooters India Limited, Parag, Eveready, etc.
