R.V. College of Engineering (RVCE) is on Mysore Road in Bengaluru, about 13 km from the city centre, on a campus of 16.85 acres. Its About page says it was established in 1963 with three engineering branches, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical, and now offers 13 undergraduate engineering programmes, 13 master's programmes and doctoral studies. The college reports an annual intake of over 2,000 for its UG and PG programmes.
The admissions page sets the B.E. eligibility: a pass in 2nd PUC or 12th with English, and at least 45% in Physics and Mathematics together with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science or Electronics for general merit candidates, or 40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka. The pages we read do not publish the intake by branch or the fee; the college posts a management-quota fee document for 2026-27 that we could not read.
B.E. seats are filled through three routes, each with its own web page: the KEA quota (government seats), the COMED-K quota and the management quota.
