Women Institute of Technology (WIT) Dehradun

Women Institute of Technology, Dehradun is a Campus Institute of  Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun which was established in September 2012 with the approval of the State Government and AICTE. It is the first Women-Only engineering institute in the state of Uttarakhand. The Government Order vide 1193/XLI-1/2011-56/10, dated 15.11.2011 constituted the framework of the college. Thereafter, W.I.T. started functioning w.e.f. September 1st, 2012 at the Dehradun campus.

The idea behind establishing the Institute was to empower women from rural and financially weaker sections of the society by providing technical knowledge and encouraging them to become confident & competent enough to meet the growing challenges of the professional world. In this aspect, W.I.T. has made tremendous progress by ensuring the availability of quality technical education to women students.

The fees structure is very nominal and affordable for engineering students. The fees is 33,000 per semester which is affordable for the middle class students who want to pursue btech. There are a fees dicount for the EWS students, TWF students and other caste students. The scholarships are provided by the colleges to students maintaining the rank. There is no hike in the fees structure for your entire 4 years course. The fees will remain same till last 8th sem as it was in the 1st sem.

Established in 2012, Women Institute of Technology is a premier Institute located in Uttarakhand. A leading institute in the city Degree courses including 5 UG course. These programs are offerred in Full Time mode. Women Institute of Technology is a premier institute for B.E. / B.Tech courses. Candidate can pursue in multiple range of courses like B.E. / B.Tech with the stream of Engineering. Institute give offer to students to gain proficiency & expertise in the specialization of Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. Courses offered by institute are recognized and acknowlegded by approving bodies like AICTE. Most importantly, these courses with 210 seats are imparted at affordable fees, which increase accessibility and allow students the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in their chosen field. Courses offered by the Institute are in the fee range of INR 257,900 for a total of 210 candidates. Women Institute of Technology offers good infrastructure like Labs, Library to students.
