The applicant must satisfy one of the following eligibility criteria for admissions into the MBA programme.

• A graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under any discipline, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university.

• An honors degree under 10+2+4 pattern from a recognized university under UGC Act with at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages.

• Candidates who have passed Bachelor/ Master degree through correspondence / Open University System from this university or from any other university recognized by law, are exempted from 10+2 pattern. The duration of the degree programme must be 3 + 2 years.

Important:

• Candidates who pass bachelor / master degree in any university system in single sitting pattern are not eligible for admission to the MBA programme offered by AIMS Institutes, Bangalore

• In case of SC / ST / Category I candidates, there is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate of marks obtained in the University Exams

• MBA admission criteria is based on a valid score in PGCET (MBA) / CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA or any national admission test.

Students seeking admission to MBA degree at AIMS Institutes must adhere to the guidelines of eligibility prior to submitting application form (online only) to us. All applications which do not meet our MBA selection criteria listed above will not be entertained.

Admission Process at AIMS Institutes

MBA Selection & Admission Process

Admission into our MBA programme (non-PGCET) is through AIMS Selection Process only.

MBA Selection Process Eligibility

• The applicant must hold a bachelor's degree, with a score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/CAT-1) or above in graduation from a recognized university marks or equivalent CGPA.

• 70 percentile or above in CAT, 80 percentile or above in MAT / XAT / CMAT / ATMA.

* Applicants who have registered for either of the above tests can appear for the selection process, but their admission offer will be made only after submission of the test score as per the requirement.

A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results is also eligible to apply.

It is mandatory for a final year student, who is provisionally considered eligible by AIMS and offered admission, to submit the mark-sheet and degree certificate of the final year bachelor's degree examination at a later date as decided by AIMS.

MBA Selection Process

AIMS MBA Selection Process consists of 4 rounds - Statement of Purpose, Extempore, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.

Applicants will be analysed on various parameters across the 04 rounds by our panel of experts, depending on which we will make a announce the results.

• Applicants will be shortlisted for selection process based on merit as per their performance in academics, competitive exam, and achievements and recognition in extracurricular activities, sports, debates, theatre, arts, etc.

• The selection process will be either in person or online depending on prevailing conditions.

• Offer letters for the selected students will be sent by email.

• Your seat will be blocked for admission on receipt of the first installment of fees by the due date as mentioned in the Offer Letter.

• Your seat will be Confirmed subject to the submission of your entrance exam score, original documents as required, and payment of the Second installment of fees by the due date.
