Placements: Placements and job opportunities were very good. There were more than 200 companies took part in the campus placements every year. Every student got a fair chance to participate and showcase their talent. Job opportunities for students as a lot of companies come to campus for placements and job interviews. Average package was between 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. Major recruiters included Wipro, TCS, NDTV, ICICI, Reliance, HDFC Bank, Yes Bank, Union Bank, Zomato, Jio Finance, Muthool Finance, etc. The company conducted interviews and tests for selection of students.
Infrastructure: Ambalika offered comprehensive hostel facilities for boys and girls separately within the university campus. They provided 24X7 electric, water supply, and Wi-Fi with sometime very good speed and very bad. But it was available 24X7 with unlimited usage. Mess food was just awesome, you will never get that good food anywhere.
Faculty: Faculty members of my college were very much experienced and knowledgeable. They usually were masters or bachelors and had great knowledge and experience in the field. Every faculty gives their 100% effort to teach every aspect of the selected subject. There were many good ones who had in-depth knowledge and practical field experience as well. Semester exams were normal, total marks were 100 out of which 40 were passing. Exams were at the end of each semester organized on the same campus. 70% marks for exam and remaining 30% for your behavior in class, attendance, internal exam, seminars, etc. They had a very structured curriculum. Everything was defined and step by step so that students could learn everything in the stipulated time. They had first the basics for everyone and then specialisations. Minimum attendance of 75% was mandatory for appearing in examinations.
