Overview
The opening up of the Indian economy to the world and to its global conglomerates, has led to the influx of both Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), along with the inflow of revenue and a modern cutting-edge technology. Thereby which has increased the importance of private sector and MNC’s for the Indian economy considerably. Previously, the Indian market was ruled by the Government enterprises and public companies, but the scenario of the Indian market changed since the markets were opened for foreign investments in 1991. This saw the rise of the Indian private sector companies invested in Banking, Retail, Telecommunication, Automobiles, Insurance, Manufacturing, etc. Sectors and new companies came up which prioritised a customer’s need, offered speedy service through skilled manpower and increased the inflow of a corporate culture of more products, services and conveniences.
