The announcement of the IIFT exam date for 2024 is scheduled to take place in the final week of September. The actual exam will be conducted in the third week of December 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the official notification regarding the IIFT 2024 exam date and registration schedule on its official website. The entrance exam for IIFT will be held in computer-based test mode at more than 160 exam centers across 63 cities in India. Each year, approximately 15,000 candidates appear for the IIFT exam, out of which around 3,500 candidates are shortlisted for the MBA selection process conducted by the institute. In the previous year's IIFT exam, there were no changes made to the exam pattern or syllabus, and it is anticipated that the IIFT 2024 exam will follow a similar pattern as well.
The IIFT Exam is a widely recognized aptitude test conducted to determine admission into the MBA International Business program offered by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) in Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada. In addition, starting from 2023, admission to the MBA in Business Analytics program is also based on the IIFT entrance exam score.
The responsibility of conducting the IIFT exam lies with the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the institute. The NTA's role is limited to organizing and administering the exam, as well as preparing the results. The final selection of candidates for admission is carried out by the institute itself.
The IIFT question paper comprises sections on Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness. The exam duration is two hours. For foreign/NRI/PIO candidates, IIFT also accepts admission based on their GMAT scores.
