Established in 2001 by the Shri Ram Educational & Welfare Trust, The GNIOT Group of Institutions is situated in Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The campus is spread over 17 acres and provides an environment that is clean and free from the hustle and bustle of city life. The campus is well connected by metro, and the metro station is just a few minutes' walk away. GNIOT is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), approved by AICTE, and has received an NAAC A+ grade in its first cycle of accreditation.

GNIOT offers over 59 academic programs in streams like Engineering, Management, Law, Pharmacy, and Commerce. Its flagship programs include B.Tech in branches such as Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Information Technology. CSE also offers specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, and Cyber Security.

At the Postgraduate level, the offerings are M.Tech, MBA (including Business Analytics and Health Care and Management), MCA, and PGDM with dual specifications. At the Undergraduate level, the programs being offered are BBA, BCA, and B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Com Hons., Integrated BBA + MBA, B.A. LL.B., and D.Pharma, which altogether are fully formulated to integrate with the proper combination of academic experience and practical knowledge to produce industry-ready professionals.

GNIOT has been known to be quite impressive in academics as well as in placements. The institution has been rated with an AAA+ rating by Careers360 for offering quality technical education with high value. The institution has also been rated in the top 200 private engineering colleges in the field of placements by the India Today ranking. The ranks attained are 160 by The Week and 168 by The Times in the ranking of 2025 ranking.
