Its AICTE mandatory disclosure describes it as a deemed university under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 (from 12 September 2008), with Elite Status and Centre of Excellence recognition from the Government of Maharashtra, a Category I deemed university listing and an A++ NAAC grade with a CGPA of 3.77 out of 4.00.
