ISBR also provides a two-year full-time PGDM course that is AICTE-approved and autonomous. Unlike the MBA course, this course is not associated with any university, which enables ISBR to change its syllabus from time to time according to the requirements of the industry.
To apply for PGDM, one needs to have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks, which is relaxed for reserved categories. The process of admission involves scores in the national entrance aptitude test, followed by GD and PI.
The PGDM is divided into a trimester pattern with six terms in two years. This enables faster learning and earlier introduction to practical subjects.
Students can choose from a broad range of specializations, including Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics, Data Science, FinTech, Product Management, Sports Management, and Healthcare Management. There are also dual specialization options.
Right from the first trimester, the students are engaged with industry-relevant topics like analytics, customer behavior, technology in business, and digital tools. The pedagogy involves case studies, simulations, capstone projects, and business problems.
A compulsory internship of 4-6 months provides PGDM students with in-depth industry exposure. Several faculty members have industry experience, which helps students understand the expectations of the current market.
The placement opportunities for PGDM students are quite good, with more than 90% placements. The average salary packages vary from ₹7.5-9 lakhs per annum, while the highest packages reach up to ₹16 lakhs. The companies that recruit from this college include Accenture, TCS, HDFC, and analytics companies.
The PGDM course fee is between ₹9-12 lakhs for a period of two years. Scholarships are also provided to students on the basis of merit and entrance test performance. Students are also provided additional certifications in domains such as Python, AWS, and business analytics.
