PGDM Course

Program/ Course

NDIM offers a full-time two-year PGDM approved by AICTE and recognized as equivalent to an MBA of the same duration. The ranking of the institute has gone through a gradual improvement and presently stands at 86th rank in NIRF 2025, which also reflects its academic strength. One major highlighting point of the NDIM PGDM program is that it offers a dual specialization model. While students at most institutes can choose only one specialization, here at NDIM, the students are given the option to select two areas.

The dual specialization gives students more flexibility during the process of applying to various job roles. NDIM offers a PGDM program with nine specializations, namely: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, and Supply Chain Management. Students get to develop a wider range of skills by choosing two specializations, thus opening wider career opportunities with increased employability. Aside from the programs mentioned above, the institute also offers a special PGDM in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Venture Development for those students who want to build startups, work with new business ideas, or learn in-depth about entrepreneurship.

The students at the time of graduation should get at least 55% marks to get admission to the PGDM course. But in the case of reserved category candidates, this percentage is 50%. Selection in the course is made based on different national-level entrance tests. Candidates selected based on the cut-off need to appear in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Academic performance, entrance test score, communication skills, extra-curricular activities, achievements, leadership potential, internship, and work experience are some important factors considered in the final selection.

Core subjects, electives, and dual specializations are part of the PGDM course in NDIM. The institute strongly focuses on practical learning. Summer and winter internships, live industry projects, certification programs, and corporate exposure sessions are part of the curriculum. At NDIM, the curriculum is changed periodically by considering the feedback provided by the industry. More than 90 members from different industries form the Academic Advisory Council that helps in shaping the courses the institute offers according to the needs of the industry. They learn through case studies, business simulations, data analytics software, digital marketing tools, real-world problem-solving sessions, leadership workshops, and sustainability learning.

The Corporate Skills Development program within NDIM trains students in communication skills, interview preparation, resume building, personality development, and group discussions. Industry Exposure and Internships. The strong industry network is the biggest strength for NDIM. There are numerous live projects with actual companies that students work on, which give them practical business exposure.

The Institute arranges internships in top companies and emerging firms; both of these give students an opportunity to understand the different business environments. Many companies offer PPOs to students performing well during their internships.

At NDIM, the placement record has always been good. The highest salary package has been around INR 17 lakh per annum, and the average package is normally between INR 7-8 lakh per annum. Quite a few students get more than one job offer, too. Many sectors have been represented by the recruiters, like banking, FMCG, consulting, manufacturing, IT, media, and retail.
