2. Plan your section ordering: You can attempt any combination of sections as there is no sectional time limit, so try out various combinations of sections in your question papers and identify the most comfortable attempt order for you.
3. Take care of negative marking: MAT gives negative marking of 0.25 point, unlike NMAT. Take the help of question papers for disciplined attempts calls – do not attempt a question if you do not know the answer.
4. Keep error log: Write down the cause of any errors after each paper – was it a concept gap, a silly error, or poor time allocation – and make the necessary changes.
6. Practice Data Analysis & Sufficiency at a higher level of time – This is the one section that people spend more time on than anything else, so practice it up in Question papers.
