Ramachandran International Institute of Management (RIIM) Pune

Established in 2014, Ramachandran International Institute of Management, Pune, is a modern management college. The institute was started by Prof. Suraj Sharma with the aim of rendering job-ready management professionals. The campus covers an area of almost 2 acres amidst greenery, thus providing a calm learning environment.

The institute is approved by AICTE, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, and accredited by NAAC. RIIM is Pune's first corporate-style B-school. Its teaching model concentrates more on practical learning than mere theory. About 70% of the learning is hands-on, whereas 30% constitutes classroom theory. This helps them understand how things work in real companies.

The institute offers two main postgraduate courses: an MBA and a PGDM. Both are full-time two-year courses. Students can select specializations like Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Operations, and Business Analytics. These options help students build skills in areas that companies are actively hiring for.

Along with the main courses, RIIM provides additional certifications: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Digital Marketing, SAP, Six Sigma Green Belt, Business Analytics, and Advanced Excel. These value-added certifications help students be more competent in finding a job.

RIIM provides exposure to the students beyond the classroom. The key highlights of this are the residential 15-day Management Development Programme at the IIM Indore or IIM Kozhikode campus, Industrial Visits, National Study Tours, and International Tours to London, France, and Dubai.

Regular guest lectures are held where the industry leaders share real experiences. Students also work on live projects, attend panel discussions, and go through mock interviews. Importance is given to soft skills training to help the growth of students in confidence and communication.
 

RIIM has been ranked by several ranking agencies. It was ranked 32nd in the Times B-School Survey for the category of private colleges for the years 2025-2026. It also has rankings in Business Today, Outlook-ICARE, IIRF, and a four-star rating by Career360. All these rankings demonstrate the steady progress of the institute.

RIIM has a great placement record. Every year, more than 300 companies visit the campus for recruitment. Some of the top companies that recruit from RIIM include HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Deloitte, EY, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, among many others. The average package offered varies between 5.5-6.5 LPA, with top packages reaching 13-14 LPA.
