Zeal Education Society's Zeal College of Engineering and Research (ZCOER) Pune

Department of Computer Engineering was set up under Zeal College of Engineering and Research in 2007. Our sole objective is and will always be to provide the learner with a repertoire of knowledge that will serve them for a lifetime. We have 13 well equipped labs with the latest software installed. The high speed internet facility (50 Mbps lease line) coupled with regular seminars and workshops held for the students and faculty ensures that the knowledge-gathering process is a holistic one. The IBM Software Lab for Emerging Technologies, set up in collaboration with IBM, is another initiative of the Department and we are making sincere efforts to ensure that every single student gets certified by this Lab. Additionally, the Zeal Firefox Club involves the students wherein they can engage in the development of Firefox products and applications. They are active volunteers in Nirmaan and Talentron, which are the technical and cultural festivals held at Zeal annually and which witness the active participation of the students.

admissions to the UG  courses start soon after the results of H.S.C. and the final year Graduation are declared. Advertisement regarding the admissions for various courses of the institution is published in the regional and national (print and electronic) media; and the same is displayed on the Institutional Website http://www.zcoer.org The ‘Information Brochure’ is prepared and Hard copy of the ‘Information Brochure’ is provided to the students at the time of admission.

The admission for all the courses are merit based. The college fallows the University guidelines and the procedures. There are no management quota admissions. Admissions to all courses are given on the basis of merit of their previous qualifying examination.

For admission student have to take registration & admission form, from the college & has to submit filled registration & admission from along with necessary document required for admission.

After registration, the admissions lists are published on merit basis. The admission process is completed in a big hall in the presence of all students and admissions are finalized on the same day same time. Though there is provision for management quota, institution has been admitting students on the basis of merit only, without utilizing management quota. Hence the whole admission process is transparent.
Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and Obtained score in MHT-CET 2023
Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)
Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and Obtained score in JEE(Main) B.E./B.Tech or MHT-CET 2023.
