Established in 2015, and is owned by the DY Patil Group Ajeenkya DY Patil University, also known as ADYPU, is a private institution located in Pune, Maharashtra. The institution is approved by UGC, making its degrees recognized nationally. ADYPU was established to provide students with up-to-date knowledge that relates to actual jobs.
The university has a campus of 100 acres located in the Lohegaon–Charholi area of Pune. The campus is clean, spacious, and well-planned. The university provides full-fledged classrooms, labs, design studios, libraries, auditoriums, hostels, canteens, and sports complexes. The students have enough space to study, hone their expertise, relax, and indulge in other activities. The ambience is lively, full of student spirit, and energetic.
ADYPU has various courses available for students pursuing UG, PG, Diploma, and PhD degrees. The streams range from engineering, design, management, law, liberal arts, film & media, hospitality, and psychology. Some common courses include B.Tech., BDes, BBA, MBA, BA LLB, BCA, and MDes. Additionally, engineering streams are IT, Mechanical, and Aerospace. Design courses include UI/UX as well as Product Design. The entry criteria include Class 12 merit or entrance, based on the program opted for.
The university is also branched into various schools such as the School of Engineering, the School of Design, the School of Management, and the School of Law. The university structure enables students to acquire knowledge in more than one subject at the same time. The programs in many subjects at this university allow students to pursue different streams that enable them to acquire more knowledge and widen their perspectives as well.
The university emphasizes practical learning and industry exposure. The students are provided with opportunities to work on live projects, conduct workshops, and go for internships. Jobs are subject to courses pursued and performance, but areas such as design, management, and technology provide relatively good scopes.

Placements: Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Skoda, etc., visit the college for placements. Companies offer various roles to the students in placements. Students should maintain a minimum of 7 CGPA for placements. From 3rd year students are eligible for internships. The training and placement cell works very hard to bring the placements up to mark.
Infrastructure: It has a great campus life as we see the sunrise and sunset in the mountains. The climate is very nice in the college.
Faculty: My faculty members are new and great. The course was launched this year, so students may not find any issues regarding the teaching faculty members. All the faculty members are very helpful so we can discuss our doubts regarding the topics very easily. Students gather and discuss the problems.
Other: Many clubs are there, such as GDSC, AWS Cloud, a Robotics club, etc. There are two major fests one is Impetus a sports event and another is Ablaze a cultural event.
