Overview

The Bachelor of Business Administration course is designed to prepare young graduates to take up challenging careers in business and industry and equips them with required skill sets such as analytical, decision-making, technical, interpersonal and technological skills. It is strategically developed to ensure holistic development in graduates thus enabling them to succeed as professionals, while at the same time find fulfilment in their personal lives and be responsive to the demands of society in an ever-changing environment.

Course Duration

Three Years (Six Semesters)

  • Enabling students to acquire contemporary management ideas and concepts
  • Developing the ability of students to apply such concepts to practical situations
  • Providing a comprehensive learning experience, designed to educate the students about global business practices

Course Pedagogy

Students differ in their individual learning styles, and each student possesses a unique combination of multiple intelligences. Our integrated teaching methodology nurtures a stimulating learning environment to encourage students to learn at higher levels. The delivery methodology is student-centered and includes active learning, inquiry, experiential learning, co-operative and participative learning activities. We focus on integration of knowledge, development of critical thinking, problem solving, and performance skills. Such a learning environment encourages the students to enjoy lessons, try out new things and to think creatively and independently. Our students thrive in a challenging academic atmosphere and enjoy the rich cultural life of the institute.

Eligibility

Pre-University/Higher Secondary/10+2 Examinations or equivalent from any recognized Board or Council in any discipline.

Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects taken in standard 12 or equivalent.

Note: An elective specialization stream is offered in the BBA course only if a minimum number of students enroll for the specialization.

Attendance Requirement

  • Classroom attendance is a compulsory component of the course, and students are expected to attend all scheduled classes.
  • Students are required to maintain a minimum of 75 percent attendance in every single subject of a particular semester, failing which students will not be permitted to appear for the Semester End Examination.

Industry Internship Program

Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration course will intern at reputed companies and across key industry sectors to gain direct experience through a field-based assignment. The industry Intership Program offers academic and professional value addition to a student's learning experience.

The applicant will have to select a date for their Alliance Selection process (A full day immersion where students will solve real-life problems and be evaluated by a panel on their overall performance. It is designed to help us appreciate your candidature better and also provide you a glimpse of our innovative approach to evaluation, teaching and learning.)

Step 5

Once the Alliance Selection Process is completed, the Admissions team will evaluate every profile and results will be declared on the same day. Students can either be Selected, Waitlisted or Rejected*.

*Rejected students cannot apply to same program in the same year.

Evaluation process
All applications are reviewed by the selection committee. Candidates are evaluated based on the candidate’s performance in the national entrance exam or Alliance entrance exam, academic performance through school and college and their involvement in extra-curricular activities and the performance in various aspects on the selection day.
