Uttarakhand (उत्तराखंड), formerly known as Uttaranchal, is a state in the northern part of India. It is often referred to as the “Land of the Gods” Devbhoomi Uttarakhand (देवभूमि) due to the many holy Hindu temples and pilgrimage centers found throughout the state. Char Dham is referred to as the four most holy Hindu pilgrimage of India nestled in the Indian Himalayas of Uttarakhand state of India. Yamunotri, Gangotri, Sri Kedarnathji, and Sri Badrinathji, collectively referred to as the Char Dham (four pilgrimage centers) of Hinduism, these four sites are the epicenter of religious activity in north India and important shrines for Hindus. Haridwar University Scholarships and Funding

Scholarship 1

Scholarship for meritorious students who enrol in B.Tech/ B.Pharm/ B.Sc./ (BCA/ BBA/ B.Com./BA/MBA/MCA/M.Sc./ M.Tech) program-

 On the Basis of JEE Rank 2023-  
Students who secured a rank between 1 to 1,00,000 will get an 80% scholarship on tuition fees.
Students who secured a rank between 1,00,001 to 2,00,000 will get a 50% scholarship on tuition fee
Students who secured a rank between 2,00,001 to 3,00,000 will get a 20% scholarship on tuition fees.
Students who secured a rank between 3,00,001 to 6,00,000 will get a 10% scholarship on tuition fees.

On the Basis of PCM%/ PCB% in Class 12th (2023, 2022)-
Students who secured more than 90% will get an 80% scholarship on tuition fees.
Students who secured more than 80% but less than or equal to 90% will get 50% on tuition fees.
Students who secured more than 70% but less than or equal to 80% will get 20% on tuition fees.
Students who secured more than 60% but less than or equal to 70% will get 10% on tuition fees.

Scholarship 2

Scholarship for meritorious students who enrol in the D.Pharm/ Diploma program:-

On the Basis of JEEP Rank 2023-
Students who secure a rank between 1 - 5,000 will get a 50% scholarship on tuition fees.
Students who secure a rank between 5,001 - 10,000 will get a 30% scholarship on tuition fees.
Students who secure a rank between 10,001- 15,000 will get a 10% scholarship on tuition fees.
Students who secure a rank between 15,001 - 20,000 will get a 10% scholarship on tuition fees.

On the basis of 10th / 12th / ITI% (2023, 2022)
Students who secure more than 90% will get a 50% scholarship on tuition fees.
Students who secured more than 80% but less than or equal to 90% will get a 30% scholarship on tuition fees.
Students who secured more than 70% but less than or equal to 80% will get a 20% scholarship on tuition fees.
Students who secured more than 60% but less than or equal to 70% will get a 10% scholarship on tuition fees.

Scholarship 3

Sports Quota Scholarship (All courses)
On the basis of Certificate (2023,2022)
Students who have National Level Certificate will get a 50% scholarship on tuition fees (first year only)
Students who have State Level Certificate will get a 30% scholarship on tuition fees (first year only)
Students who have District Level Certificate will get a 20% scholarship on tuition fees (first year only)
Students who have School Level Certificate will get a 10% scholarship on tuition fees (first year only)

Established in 2010, Haridwar University Roorkee (formerly known as Roorkee College of Engineering) is a leading educational university. It is ranked among the top 40 Engineering colleges of India and ranked 2nd among all the technical institutes of Uttarakhand. The university offers UG and PG courses in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy, Management and Agriculture Studies.
