IBMR Gurugram offers a two-year full-time program in the Post Graduate Diploma in Management, which is PGDM 4.0. The course is approved by AICTE and has been specifically designed to provide advanced management education with greater emphasis on practical and industrially relevant learning. In this course, students get exposure to the real business world through case studies, live projects, and internships, along with soft skills training.
The candidates applying for the PGDM program should have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks under the 10+2+3 system from any recognized university. In addition, the candidates must have a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT/ICAT national-level management exams. Shortlisted candidates then undergo a Group Discussion and Personal Interview to check their communication skills, aptitude, and managerial potential.
The total estimated cost for the PGDM course is about INR 8.4 lakhs for two years in entirety. There is a one-time registration fee when the student gets enrolled, which ranges from INR 50,000 - 75,000. The fee covers the program cost and the value-added certifications that are part of the curriculum.
PGDM 4.0 allows for dual specialization, hence students can select areas that best suit their career interests. The most popular specializations are Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Operations, International Business, IT, and Business Analytics. The curriculum keeps an excellent balance between theoretical and applied skills by including leadership, communication, and digital skills workshops.
IBMR has an active placement system for PGDM students. The institute has associated itself with companies in the IT, banking, FMCG, manufacturing, and consulting sectors. Average placements command around INR 8 lakh per year on average, with higher figures in the case of top students. More than 90 companies provide internship opportunities for hands-on practice. The placement department also helps students with interview techniques, resume writing, and corporate etiquette.
