Department of Interior Design, offers Master of Design (M. Des) programme in Interior Design. This course at Faculty of Design is established to realize the need for design, research, innovation and experimentation in the filed of Interior Design. This course through its pedagogical approach intends to build abilities in students to propose and conceptualize design solution through integration of professional practice, material research, aesthetics, design thinking and changing technologies. The course allows the students to become a competent and competitive professional on a today very aggressive market by providing them the exposure through field trips, industry visits, hands on experience, live installation sessions, workshops, seminars etc. Our teachers are professional Designers, Architects and Artists with both domestic and international education and experiences.

This programme aims to prepare students to work as professional Interior Designer, Furniture designer, Product Designer, Design Journalist, Craft Designer and Environmental graphic design.
ELIGIBILITY
The candidates must have passed Bachelor's Degree (with minimum of four years) in Design/ Engineering/ Architecture/ Interior Design from recognized University/Institution or equivalent qualification as recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or other competent body with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.

The candidates must have passed BSc. /BA /B Voc. (10+2+3)* in Interior Design/ Interior Architecture, from recognized University/Institution or equivalent qualification as recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or other competent body with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
